In late July, the National Hockey League (NHL) and DAZN announced a multi-year partnership which will see DAZN become the exclusive home of ‘NHL.TV’ in nearly 200 countries beginning with the 2025-26 season.
NHL.TV has been the primary way for the majority of fans outside of North America to tune into the league outside of individual national television deals.
The list of countries where ‘NHL.TV’ (or a rebrand) can be found here nhl.com/nhltvcountries, and the United Kingdom is amongst the nations listed.
As per the press release, all existing NHL.TV subscribers will receive further details on the migration in the coming months.

As part of the agreement, NHL.TV will be available on DAZN as a standalone subscription or as an add-on to existing DAZN packages (excluding the U.S., Canada, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden).
DAZN has been making an impact in the sports market, offering products such as NFL Game Pass and PGA Tour Pass. They have fingers in many sporting pies, broadcasting boxing, football, including the recent World Club Championship and LIV Golf.

Individual markets will continue to incur blackouts linked to television deals broadcasting live games.
More details are yet to be released, but the expectation is another announcement or press release by the end of the last week of August or the first week of September.
