Following the success of the Streaming Series late last year, it’s time for UK hockey to return, albeit still behind closed doors.

The Spring Cup swill feature five NIHL teams.

The Sheffield Steeldogs, Telford Tigers, Bracknell Bees, Swindon Wildcats and Romford Raiders shall compete across seven weeks beginning today, Saturday, February 13, 2021.

The competition runs through until the end of March with five teams playing a total of twelve games each in that time.

As mentioned in the heading of this article, all games will be played behind closed doors due to the ongoing pandemic and lockdown restrictions.

All games will be streamed live and each home team will be responsible for its stream and selling tickets.

The rosters are comprised of many familiar names across the length and breadth of UK hockey. There are plenty of Team GB stars amongst them including Liam Kirk, Johnathan Phillips and Ben Davies to name but three, which should add some interest and intrigue to this competition.
